Melbourne City’s AFC Women’s Champions League Semi-Final match details have been confirmed, with the team set to take on South Korean side Incheon Red Angels at the Wuhan Sports Centre in China.
City will face the Incheon Red Angels for a place in the final two of the inaugural competition on Wednesday 21 May, kick-off 10:00pm AEST.
After a historic home Quarter-Final, where City became the first Australian team to host an AFC Women’s Champions League fixture on home soil, Michael Matricciani’s squad secured their place in the Semi-Finals with a comprehensive 3-0 win over Taichung Blue Whale.
City’s Semi-Final opponents, Incheon Red Angels, booked their spot in the Semi-Finals with a 1-0 win over Iranian side Bam Khatoon, a team City defeated during the tournament’s Group Stage.
