Remaining the fastest-growing subscription streaming service in Australia, Paramount+ today unveiled its diverse and expansive pipeline of premium local and international content spanning the best in entertainment, live sport action, blockbuster films, new originals, hit series and family favourites for 2025.
Home to some of the most successful Australian original series including Fake and Last King of The Cross, today, Paramount+ together with Screen Australia and Screen NSW, is excited to announce the commission of new original drama series, Playing Gracie Darling, produced by Curio Pictures.
Created and written by Miranda Nation (Undertow) and directed by Jonathan Brough (Rosehaven, The Family Law), Playing Gracie Darling features an ensemble cast of notable names, including Morgana O’Reilly (The White Lotus Season Three, Friends Like Me) playing Joni, Rudi Dharmalingam (Wakefield, Great Expectations) playing Jay, Celia Pacquola (Rosehaven, Love Me) playing Ruth, Annie Maynard who plays Anita (Upper Middle Bogan, Colin From Accounts) and Anne Tenney (The Castle, A Country Practice) playing Moira, with more announcements to follow.
This gripping murder mystery series will set to uncover the truth 27 years on from when Joni’s best friend Gracie Darling first disappeared in a small town during a séance. With another mysterious disappearance, Joni will be forced to confront deep fears of the unknown to find out what really happened to Gracie that fateful night.
Amplifying the local line-up is the new Australian version of the critically acclaimed British comedy series Ghosts. Together with BBC Studios Productions Australia, Paramount+ and Network 10 will launch Ghosts Australia, the first local iteration of the hit sitcom set to land down under in 2025.
The distinctive and highly spirited comedy will welcome an ensemble cast soon to be announced. Paramount+ is currently streaming a library collection of the British and American Ghosts series.
Gifting a good dose of festive cheer is Staycation, a feature-length, live action Christmas movie from Ludo, the producers of the smash hit series, Bluey. This madcap comedy sees a dysfunctional middleclass family attempt to survive their Christmas break at home, only to find themselves accidentally mixed up with some very dangerous characters indeed.
With more than a nod to the uproarious National Lampoon film franchise, this Aussie comedy will be ready to unwrap Christmas on Paramount+ and Network 10.
Get ready to kick back for some laughs as the comedic masterminds and pranksters behind The Inspired Unemployed, Jack Steele and Matt Ford (AKA Falcon) take on a brand-new venture with the launch of the Paramount+ and Network 10 Australian original series The List, landing in 2025.
Produced by Warner Bros. International Television Production Australia, this six-part series will see the boys set out on an unforgettable adventure travelling across six countries with one mission - to complete ‘The List’. Unfortunately, their dream bucket list of things they want to do is replaced by a nightmare list of things they have to do.
From entering a rap battle competition in Soweto, to becoming Mermen in Malaysia, training with Japanese mountain monks to stalking, (or being stalked!) by bears in Finland, they will endure excruciating native medical treatments, learn obscure martial arts, and perform to huge local crowds against their will. Jack and Falcon will be pushed physically and emotionally out of their comfort zones in their quest to fulfill ‘The List’, all for our amusement.
Jack and Falcon jointly said: “We are pumped to be putting our heads and bodies on the line filming The List for Paramount+ and Network 10, it’s going to be a wild ride!”
But the quips won’t be stopping there. The jokes will keep rolling on in 2025 only bigger, bolder and funnier as the uproarious hit series The Inspired Unemployed (Impractical) Jokers returns.
Bringing more hilarity and chaos to our screens, lifelong mates Jack, Falcon, Liam and Dom will be serving up another season of outrageous and hilarious pranks and punishments. With hidden cameras capturing their every move, the childhood friends will once again go to great lengths competing to embarrass one another in a slate of awkward, cringeworthy and outlandish scenarios.
It’s simple, if they refuse and lose, they face public humiliation and punishment. The Inspired Unemployed (Impractical) Jokers is produced by Warner Bros. International Television Production Australia.

The cases are bigger, locations more exotic, and the stakes much higher. With everything on the line, will NCIS: Sydney triumph against all odds – or be torn apart at their very core?
