Woman Shocked As Fellow Plane Passenger Opens Can Of Tuna

A woman has shared the moment a fellow plane passenger committed a fragrant flight faux pas, opening a can of tuna ten minutes into a flight.

Ally captured the moment the Alaskan Airlines passenger cracked open the controversial can of fish, captioning the video, “Canned tuna on the plane gotta be up there in terms of crimes against humanity”.

Ally posted the video to TikTok, where it reached over 1.2 million views and thousands of outraged comments.

“I’m so sensitive to smells I would have thrown up on this person,” wrote one person, while another said, “I love tuna, but opening a can of tuna on a flight is insane to me.”

Some couldn’t understand the uproar, with one person saying, “Why do people hate tuna? I love it”, and another asking, “What’s everyone’s beef with tuna?”.

In a follow-up video, Ally said the passenger’s poor plane etiquette went beyond the pungent snack.

“It wasn’t just the tuna; this guy was literally in the textbook for someone you do not want to sit next to on the plane,” she said, describing the man’s mediocre manners.

Ally went on to say that the man whipped out the can of tuna barely ten minutes into the flight and paired the snack with a Bloody Mary, resulting in “ this waft in the air of bloody mary burps”.

The horror didn’t stop there, with Ally claiming the man regularly lifted his arm to scratch at a bloody scab, picking at it until it began flaking off.
